FAQ.. What is Soy Wax and how is it made? As the names suggests Soy Wax is made from Soy Bean oil. Beans are harvested, cleaned, cracked, de-hulled, and rolled into flakes. The purified oil that is extracted from the flakes then goes through a process called 'hydrogenation', which alters its melting point, making it a solid at room temperature. Little waste is produced from the processing of soybeans into wax. When the oil is extracted the remaining solids can be used as
